CURRENT PROJECT PROPOSAL
We have all been through a lot of change recently and you may agree that what the world needs now is more positivity and creativity. We're looking for supportive partners to help us get this show on the road to create pride and opportunities in our Communities.
'Live the Hauraki' is a pilot proposal for promoting the regions natural and historical features where participants would gain skills, knowledge and experience in many areas of marketing, media, creative arts, communication and business while having a platform to grow their own creativity and contribute back to the community with an audio-visual and live musical production, tailored to the area and their talents, represented with iconic NZ music through each era.
‘World famous in New Zealand since ages ago’ put Paeroa on the map and since then the Hauraki region has grown and has much more to offer and explore than many people may realise.
My pilot proposal to promote the Hauraki Region is:
1/Experiential Tours: Local College Students and Locals present videos about Hauraki regions features and businesses. The videos will be sent to schools and businesses in other regions inviting them to visit.
2/Musical & AV Show: Performed by College Students & Locals portraying the history, iconic music and dances through the eras. Maree Hudson will work with Colleges to produce and promote the show
Main Benefits:
- College Students will develop skills, knowledge of history and experience with AV production and a platform to develop their talents leading to further work opportunities
- Attracting Visitors to the region will Increase spending in the area and awareness for local businesses
- The AV/ Musical Show provides entertainment and a trip down memory lane for old and young with proceeds going back to the Colleges and Community
